This book was written and self-published by my father, Tom Edwards. It chronicles the events of his life from childhood in the rural area near Evening Shade, Arkansas, through Depression-era service in the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC), Navy duty in the Pacific during World War II, and post-war civilian life working with electric utilities, vocational schools and the Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES), which named him "Man of the Year."
